Basics

For those new to the idea of a kink meme, they are pages in which fans of a subject post ideas (prompts) that they would enjoy seeing brought to life through writing and art. Other fans interact by choosing a prompt that they like best and "fill" the prompt by producing a piece of writing or art that matches said prompt. Despite the name "kink meme", prompts do not have to be sexual in nature. There is no time-limit to any of these prompts in any capacity and anyone is free to participate without asking for permission.

Prompts for this kink meme must include Rictor or Shatterstar from Marvel Comics. While we are titled as a ricstar kink meme, other ships involving either two characters maybe be posted as prompts as long as one of the two is present. Non-ship fanfiction is certainly acceptable as well.

Prompts are encouraged to be anonymous but not mandated.

Rules

One prompt per comment.
Duplicate prompts will be deleted per mod discretion.
Both SFW and NSFW prompts are allowed. Use viewer discretion when reading prompts.
Respect other requests AKA no kinkshaming in prompt replies or fills.
The prompt must include Rictor or Shatterstar as a central character.
Prompts can be filled as many times as those filling like. While we encourage those filling prompts to choose requests that have not been filled before, if a prompt speaks to you, you are certainly allowed to fill it a second time. Or third -- or fourth, etc.
Filling a prompt can be as long or as short as one would like for writing, and as detailed or simple as one wants for art.

Prompt Format

In the subject line, include a short blurb. This often includes the ship and the main theme, kink, or tags that someone scrolling fast will be able to pick out.
Example: Ricstar, X-Force era fake dating.
Example 2: Gen, Longshot learns Shatterstar is his son.

In the main body, describe the general prompt. You can be as detailed or simple as you like, but both have their drawbacks. Too many details become difficult for some writers' visions, too little details might be too open-ended for most writers to get a clear picture.
Example: X-Force needs someone to fake attend couple's therapy and none of the "actual" couples on the team are comfortable with the idea. Rictor and Shatterstar are required to pretend to date for the mission, much to Rictor's complaining. If possible, please include some hand-holding or maybe having to fake-kiss to get attention away from them! Definitely include Domino's presence through the story if you can too (and how amused she is over the whole situation.)
Example 2: Longshot pov during XFI. Learns the nature of his blood relation to Star. No other specifics.

Filling a Prompt

Reply to the prompt with the title "FILL".
Paste a link to where the prompt was filled. Typically, most post fills to Archive of Our Own and indicate in the notes of the story that it was written for a kink meme. If uncomfortable with the fill being displayed on one's AO3 account, we encourage the use of the anonymous function on AO3.
